It’s very concerning to hear that insects have declined by 80% and then you hear they have declined by a further 60% more recently.. This is a major reason we have developed the wild meadow at Llanunwas over the last five years. The flowers were great early summer but very few insects, adding to our concerns. Now at last we are seeing butterflies, grasshoppers and this beauty today so there is still life and still an opportunity to turn the declines around.
